1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Ghost Hunter handles information in the iPhone and iPad app, nearby team features, Remote Console, venue experiences, purchases, exports, and related support services.
2. Information stored on your device
Your profile preferences, custom plans, cases, interviews, notes, environmental readings, images, audio, transcripts, and evidence records are designed to remain on your device. They leave the device only when you choose a feature that shares, exports, synchronizes, or sends them. Removing the app may remove local records that were not exported or synchronized through a service you enabled.
3. Permissions and device inputs
Depending on the tools you use, the app may request location, motion, compass, pressure, magnetic, Bluetooth, local-network, nearby-interaction, microphone, speech recognition, camera, photo-library, notification, contact, calendar, or reminder access. These inputs support field instruments, navigation, team sessions, evidence you create, and actions you explicitly request. Permission can be denied or withdrawn in Apple Settings.
Device and environmental readings do not establish proof of paranormal activity. The app does not upload raw sensor readings, microphone audio, camera frames, or private investigation records by default.
4. Connected features
A feature may send ordinary network information, such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, and device or app details, to the service that fulfills the request. Connected features can include:
- Apple services such as Maps, WeatherKit, CloudKit, Game Center, SharePlay, notifications, and the App Store;
- public-source research, location directories, Wikipedia, route links, and catalog updates;
- AI model and voice-resource downloads;
- published venue tours and guest content from ghosthunter.mobi; and
- team sessions or evidence you deliberately share with another participant.
Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control a third party’s independent privacy practices.
5. Team features and Remote Console
Nearby and remote team features transmit only the session information needed for the feature you activate. Other investigators must be accepted into a session before location sharing begins. You can stop a session or location sharing at any time.
Remote Console is served by your phone to a paired browser on the same local network. It is not a cloud dashboard. Its local HTTP connection is not encrypted, so use it only on a trusted private network and stop the session when the work is complete.
6. Purchases
Apple processes payments. AI Ghost Hunter receives transaction, product, subscription-status, eligibility, and entitlement information needed to complete or restore a purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
7. Venue and operator services
Venue operators may provide an account email, venue details, staff contact information, route content, images, source links, and tour drafts. Authorized operators and administrators can review and publish venue content. Service security records and revision history may be retained to protect accounts, resolve disputes, and preserve an accurate publication record.
8. Support information
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, device and app details, and message. Do not send passwords, private addresses, client records, or another person’s recordings without permission.
9. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that operate a feature you request, to other participants you deliberately share with, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
10. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local records remain until you delete them, remove the app, or use an enabled synchronization service. Information held for support or venue services is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by us by emailing hello@untoldinteractive.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where legally required.
11. Children
AI Ghost Hunter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Minors should use the app only with a responsible adult and should not share private location, recordings, or contact information.
12. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the feature, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device, use trusted networks and recipients, and keep venue-account credentials private.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and in App Store privacy disclosures when required.
